Insurance Claims and Direct Billing

Professional Glass is a preferred provider for all insurance companies nationwide, from Allstate to Zurich American. We routinely work with national and local insurance agencies to take great care of their customers, and we can bill the insurance companies electronically on your behalf, so you don't have to wait for your reimbursement in the mail.

How Does Direct Billing Work?

The first step is to establish a glass claim with your insurance company. This is a routine matter that we can handle in-person in our shop or on a three-way phone call. Once we call the glass claims hotline, we will provide some information about our shop, and then you will provide some information, including your policy information and a date of loss that is tied to the claim.

Once the glass claims network assigns a claim number and referral number to your claim, you are set. At that point, the glass work will be authorized and you will only be responsible for paying the amount of your comprehensive deductible. We will bill your insurance company directly for the remainder of the claim. Note: most insurance companies will waive your deductible for a windshield repair.

Your insurance company shouldn't hold the glass claim against your policy or cause your rates to go up, but you will want to verify that with your insurance agent. Your agent can also tell you exactly what your comprehensive deductible is.
